Craft Stamper Magazine Designer with Stampin' Up! In Colors

Welcome to my blog, particularly if this is your first visit. I'll be sharing this and other cards over the next few days that I  designed for a very special project. If it's your first time here you'll see from the side bar and description that I'm an Independent Stampin' Up! demonstrator and the products used to create these cards can be bought in my ONLINE SHOP

Back in July whilst on the Stampin' Up! incentive trip I received an email from the editor of Craft Stamper magazine inviting me to design some cards for the November issue.  Well I did a happy dance, much to the amusement of my family.  I was so honoured to be asked and very excited at the prospect.

This is the first card I designed using the specified Stampin' Up! colours of Fresh Fig, Berry Burst and Lemon Lime Twist.  The November issue is on sale on tomorrow or if you subscribe you may have received your copy already this week,  and you can see all of my cards along with some designed by the editor.  You can also join in a giveaway if you buy the magazine, because Stampin' Up! have given ink pads to Craft Stamper for lucky people like you to try and win.

Craft Stamper is a multi-media style craft publication and so you'll see I've used different textures and techniques to create this card.

The background features the shaving foam technique and some heat embossing with copper embossing powder which really pops with this colour scheme.  I've used the Swirly Scribbles dies and Swirly Bird stamp set from Stampin' Up! to add some defined shapes and a sweet little hello from the set Tabs for Everything.  The Seaside  6 x 6 embossing folder made a perfect back drop for the card, but you'll see I used the de-bossed side of the card stock.

The copper trim and berry burst finely woven ribbon are the finishing touch.

Do come back and see more about my designs or nip to your local stockist of Craft Stamper Magazine for your own copy and the chance to enter the giveaway.  Alternatively you can go to www.craftstamper.com to buy a subscription, www.mags-uk.com for single print copies, digital copies from www.pocketmags.co.uk

Using shaving foam to create a background is one of my favourite ways to make a stunning background. It is quick sand relatively clean to produce. A win win for me. Love the vibrant colour combination here on your unique card. Hugs Mrs A.
